The second book I delved into for my reading week was The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, with a tagline that reads "how little things can make a big difference". If I'm going to compare this to the Creative Superpowers book I had previously read, I would say I much preferred this one over it. I felt my attention was captured throughout the book and I was really taking in everything that was spoken about. Whereas with Creative Superpowers sometimes my interest would be lost. The book likes to focus on certain types of people in life described as 'Mavens, Connectors and Salesmen' which really got me thinking about which group I belonged to, and people who I personally know who also fit these categories. Epidemics are also talked about in detail in this book, making you understand the connection between things happening and why they happen. I would recommend this book if you want to understand certains behaviours to adopt if you want to fit into a particular personality category, or if you in general just want to be educated on a range of topics (that somehow all link). My only criticism for the book would be I felt at points it could be quite repetitive, in some ways though this method did make the information stick in my brain.
