Before venturing off to Uni, in the summer I ensured I visited the Bowes Museum for another one of their amazing fashion exhibitions. In the past I had viewed their Yves Saint Laurent exhibition, but this time around it was 'Catwalking: Fashion Through the Lens of Chris Moore'. This wasn't just a photography exhibition, but also a fashion one with rooms filled with jaw dropping garments from different designers such as Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Comme des Garçons, John Galliano, Vetements, and Vivienne Westwood to name a few. I find it really great that a museum situated in North Yorkshire can pull off these astonishing exhibitions which are always so popular amongst students in the area. As someone who also loves fashion photography, there was as you can imagine, a room filled with Chris Moore's work from throughout the years. The exhibition unfortunately ended earlier this year, but I look forward to the next fashion exhibition they showcase here.
