Back To Black

Today we met back up in our groups with the research and images we had collected, we then discussed this and shared our thoughts and opinions. Initially I was happy with being put with the colour BLACK, but found it difficult to separate between the ‘Love It’ and ‘Over It’ categories. I found lots of repetitive clothes, but I also learnt more in depth about the use of BLACK in horror movies.

We then got put into smaller groups to brainstorm and plan a photoshoot that involves the colour BLACK. In my pair we discussed the idea of contrasting really feminine/girly objects such as barbie dolls, lipstick, roses, jewellery, pink dresses and using the powerful nature of BLACK by covering them all in it either by the use of BLACK paint or BLACK spray paint. Doing this will represent the dark, rebellious, and statement connotations BLACK has.
